During a segment on CNN Monday, Enten said recent polling shows Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico leading Republican nominee Ken Paxton by 3 percentage points. This is a huge change from the 2018 Senate race, when Republican Sen. Ted Cruz held a 6-point lead over Democrat Beto O’Rourke at the same stage of the campaign.
