Oracle主导的Java Development Kit 27计划于9月15日正式发布，目前已进入功能冻结阶段。此版本共包含九项新特性：G1成为所有环境的默认垃圾回收器、支持TLS 1.3后量子混合密钥交换、惰性常量API、结构化并发、模式匹配支持基本类型、紧凑对象头、JFR进程内数据脱敏、向量API，以及加密对象的PEM编码支持。JDK 27为短期非LTS版本，将获得六个月官方支持。
