A good harvest should be good news. But when too many tomatoes reach the market at once, farmers can watch prices collapse before they have time to sell what they worked months to grow. In this episode, we meet tomato farmers in Ilocos Norte and follow their produce beyond the farm. We look at middlemen in Nueva Vizcaya, the institutional partnerships and local processing opportunities. We want to understand if value adding through canned tomatoes as a case study, could provide a more stable mar
