Music is the greatest connector there is. When both my parents were living with dementia, my sisters and I sang hymns for them. Our singing could bring them back to the present for just a moment, connecting to something deep within. I recorded a special acoustic version of “Trees We’ll Never See” for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Alzheimer's Association #MusicMoments in honor of my parents.
